Please remember that at tournament, some homerooms are shared. Be courteous to other teams in your area. Clean-up the room when you are finished. Don't leave items unattended in homerooms, as the University is a public space, open to all. All teams must be out of their homerooms by 4PM so custodial staff can access the rooms - don't leave anything behind.
Once events have ended, but before the awards ceremony, students may attend a science themed program provided by Wayne State University.
Public Safety phone number is (313)577-2222. This is the equivalent of 911 on campus.
Teams will have assigned seating at the awards ceremony to make sure there is room for everyone. Parents may sit in the unassigned rows at the back if there is not enough room with your team. click for the seating chart here
REMINDER: a recent feature has been added to Regionals. If a pair of students wins an event (1st place), but belongs to a team that did not qualify for States, that pair of students (plus an adult chaperone) will be invited to States to compete in their event, for a chance to medal at States as well! So hardworking students on small teams have a chance for some personal success!
Grading, scores, and awards is on its own page (see menu above under "MORE....")
